Instructional Positions: GENERAL INFORMATION

Potential candidates seeking to apply to any of these positions must be energetic, highly motivated and have a passion for teaching. Potential candidates must. . .

  • Possess the ability to develop age appropriate curriculum and activities for groups up to 25;
  • Be a practicing artists with strong skills in 2D, 3D, carpentry, metals, sculpture, ceramics or computer arts;
  • Possess strong communications skills;
  • Have strong leadership skills;
  • Have an ability to facilitate art programming for small and large groups of children or adults;
  • Be able to deliver structured art instruction through electronic media, with digital software and artist-developed props;
  • Be able to write and develop lesson plans that incorporate state, national and social-emotional learning standards;
  • Be team players. Have an ability to work well with others, as well as work toward achieving LiveArts Studio goals of educating learners through art.

Art Instructor: Position No. 01603

LiveArts Studio is seeking seasoned art instructors to teach part-time in our part-year and full-year contract teaching positions. Instructional duties include at least 1 class per week. Certifications are not required, but a big plus. Those considering to apply must enjoy teaching youth or adults, are highly organized and enjoy working with diverse and non-traditional learners.


Art Instructor: Position No. 01604

LiveArts Studio is seeking seasoned multilingual art instructors to teach part-time in our part year and full year contract teaching positions. Instructional duties include at least 1 class per week. Spanish, French, Arabic, Korean and Hindi speakers are encouraged to apply. Those considering to apply must enjoy teaching children, youth or adults, are highly organized and enjoy working with diverse and non-traditional learners.

 

Development Coordinator: Position No. 01605

LiveArts Studio is seeking a talented, dedicated and passionate individual to assist in the scouting of new markets and to build relationships with clients in those markets; locally, nationally and internationally. The potential candidate must possess excellent communication skills; verbally, written and within social media platforms. Key to this position is the ability to seek and obtain grants with federal and corporate entities, as well as sponsorships. A background in non-profit management, arts management, business management and social media marketing are highly encouraged.
